Learning & Development Manager

About the role

SMT is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to shape and scale talent, performance, and leadership development across its global, multi‑site organization. The role will partner with senior leaders and HR teams to translate strategy into actionable learning programs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and continuously improve the Group Talent Development framework.
• Lead the Talent Management project on career pathing and skills mapping.
• Coach senior executives on talent and performance practices.
• Collaborate with local HR to operationalise L&D strategy.
• Build succession planning frameworks and track success metrics such as internal fill rates and engagement scores.
• Conduct data‑driven learning needs analyses and translate insights into learning outcomes.
• Support leadership and high‑potential employee growth with equitable development approaches.
• Monitor employee engagement through surveys and action plans.
• Design and manage complex L&D programs using diverse methodologies and engaging content.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Talent Development, L&D, Organizational Development or HR Business Partnering, preferably in an international setting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business or related field.
• Proven track record in leadership development, performance frameworks and manager enablement.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive coaching abilities.
• Comfortable working in multicultural, fast‑paced, matrixed environments.

• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Survey design and analytics.
• Content‑authoring tools.
