Lead of SAP Technology

About the role

As Lead of SAP Technology you will shape the direction of Amista’s technical SAP teams across Europe and Asia. You act as the main point of contact for consultants and a trusted partner for customers, balancing coaching, presales and hands‑on technical work.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a network of team leads and around 30 SAP experts in Belgium, the Netherlands, Hungary and India.
• Support presales activities: provide technical advice, estimate effort, attend customer meetings and help develop proposals.
• Stay active as a consultant in architecture, governance or development projects.
• Work with SAP BTP, SAP CAP, event‑driven architectures, integration patterns and cloud development.
• Inspire the technical community with trends, best practices and new ideas at internal and external events.
• Translate strategic decisions into concrete plans and manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster a positive, entrepreneurial and collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years experience as an SAP consultant.
• At least 2 years experience leading, coaching or mentoring teams.
• Strong analytical insight, customer focus, flexibility and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership mindset focused on growth, development and collaboration.

Required skills

• SAP BTP (mandatory)
• SAP CAP
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems (a plus)
• Architecture and high‑level design, including event‑driven architectures and integration patterns
• Cloud development
