Lead Occupational Health Physician (Brussels)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Occupational Health Physician to join a leading occupational health and wellbeing provider in Brussels. Working in a hybrid setting, you will combine hands‑on medical practice with strategic support and coaching for a team of dedicated doctors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor client health and deliver proactive medical consultations.
• Conduct on‑site visits to assess workplace health, safety and hygiene conditions.
• Participate in Occupational Health and Safety Committees (CPPT) and provide expert advice.
• Support reintegration programmes to enable sustainable return‑to‑work for employees.
• Act as a sparring partner to the Medical Manager in daily team management.
• Serve as the go‑to person for optimal use of medical IT tools within the team.
• Stand in for the manager when required and share professional expertise with colleagues.

Required profile

• Specialist degree in Occupational Medicine.
• 3–5 years of experience as an Occupational Doctor.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑oriented approach.
• Ability to share knowledge and demonstrate natural leadership.
• Category B driving licence and willingness to travel within the Brussels region.
• Full professional proficiency in French and Dutch.
• Prior coaching or team‑management experience is a plus.
