About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to lead our national sales and channel strategy. The role will drive sales targets, manage distributor relationships, and ensure optimal product availability across the market.
Key responsibilities
- Set and achieve national Sales Index (SI) and Sales Target (ST) goals, develop agent and sales plans, and manage agent selection, pricing, and rebates.
- Plan and communicate channel strategies for new product launches, monitor national distributor orders, and oversee product delivery to stores.
- Manage product stock inventory, sales forecasting, and Days of Supply (DOS); create customer tiering systems and handle upgrades/downgrades.
- Administer the channel budget, act as internal control owner, and identify and mitigate channel risks.
- Define standards for joint marketing, rebates, price protection, and incentive settlements; lead Sales Management Review (SMR) meetings.
Required profile
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Experience in the consumer electronics and technology industry, preferably with MediaMarkt channel exposure.
- Adaptable, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented with strong learning ability.
- Excellent cross‑departmental collaboration and communication skills.
- Risk‑aware with the ability to identify and propose solutions for channel business risks.
