Junior Software Engineer (.NET/C#)

About the role

Join Alterface’s young, passionate team of 20 engineers and help create award‑winning interactive attractions for theme parks and location‑based entertainment venues worldwide. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on the full lifecycle of projects, from specification to on‑site installation, using the proprietary Salto language and Salto™ interactive show‑control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and install projects using Salto language and Salto™ environment.
• Plan and execute on‑site installations, travelling up to 20% of the time.
• Design, develop and maintain unit tests and tooling solutions in C# or C.
• Produce comprehensive technical and installation documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on development processes, coding best practices and code reviews.
• Support software and maintenance teams during on‑site installations.

Required profile

• Creative junior software engineer with a strong interest in interactive media.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally for installations lasting up to three weeks.
• Full‑time availability and a permanent‑contract mindset.
