Junior Software Engineer (.NET/C#) – Interactive Attractions

About the role

Join Alterface’s young, passionate team of 20 to develop cutting‑edge interactive attractions for theme parks worldwide. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on projects from specification through on‑site installation, using the proprietary Salto language and Salto™ interactive show‑control environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and install projects using Salto language and Salto™ environment.
• Plan and execute on‑site installations, travelling up to 20% of the time.
• Design, develop and maintain unit tests and tooling in C# or C.
• Create comprehensive technical and installation documentation for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on coding best practices, code reviews and development processes.
• Support software and maintenance teams during on‑site installations.

Required profile

• Creative junior software engineer with a passion for interactive media.
• Experience with development languages such as C, C# and Python.
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally for up to three weeks per installation.
• Full‑time availability under a permanent contract.
