Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Medpace is expanding its software development footprint beyond the United States and is establishing a new development centre in Leuven. We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Information Technology team, working on core clinical systems and internal applications that support the development of new medical treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyse and document user requirements.
• Design, modify, develop and support software applications.
• Participate in software validation through development, review and execution of test plans, cases and scripts.
• Follow the software development life‑cycle from requirements gathering to release and maintenance.
• Communicate with team members about projects, tools and procedures.
• Develop object‑oriented applications using C#, ASP.NET and related technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Interest in modernising systems and adopting cloud‑based platforms.

Required skills

• C# programming.

• SQL and relational database concepts.
• Entity Framework.
• Azure DevOps and Azure cloud services (preferred).
