Junior Software Engineer – Interactive Attractions

About the role
Join Alterface’s young, passionate team to develop interactive attraction software used worldwide. As a Junior Software Engineer you will work on projects from specification through on‑site installation, using the proprietary Salto language and the Salto™ interactive show‑control environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and install projects using Salto language and Salto™ environment.
- Maintain and extend legacy code, adding features and fixing bugs.
- Write unit tests and tooling solutions in C# or C++.
- Create technical and installation documentation for internal and external use.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on coding standards, code reviews and development processes.
- Support software and maintenance teams during on‑site installations, including up to 20% travel.
Required profile
- Proficiency with source‑control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Experience in programming languages C, C# or Python.
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
- Strong communication skills for direct client interaction.
- Valid driver’s licence.
