Junior IT Support Engineer

About the role

As a Junior IT Support Engineer you will act as the bridge between the IT service desk and employees across multiple Belgian offices. You will provide first‑line technical assistance, ensure smooth onboarding and off‑boarding, and help keep the IT environment running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and other IT equipment.
• Assist with employee onboarding and off‑boarding, including account setup and access rights.
• Manage invoices received by the service desk.
• Escalate complex problems to the appropriate specialist teams.
• Travel to offices in Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Louvain‑la‑Neuve, and Tournai as needed.

Required profile

• Basic IT background; professional experience is a plus.
• Passion for technology and strong problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and clear communication with both technical and non‑technical users.
• Organised, rigorous and comfortable working in Dutch, French and English.
