Junior Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to support the design and delivery of analytics and machine‑learning solutions for our revenue‑management suite. The role will work with complex data sets, build tailored models and help create scalable data pipelines while collaborating with technical, functional and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and preprocess complex data from multiple sources for analytics solutions.
• Develop, implement and fine‑tune machine‑learning models to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to build robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Participate in client meetings to present technical results and gather feedback.
• Work with functional experts and project managers to align solutions with business needs.
• Integrate developed models into product offerings together with the product team.
• Document processes and contribute to the standardisation of analytics solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related STEM field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills with the ability to communicate results clearly.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Machine‑learning libraries such as scikit‑learn, PyTorch, pandas and NumPy.
• Object‑oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with cloud services for data storage, pipelines and model execution.
• Databricks platform.
• Development tools like VSCode or other IDEs and Jupyter notebooks.
• Version control with Git.
• SQL for data manipulation (nice to have).
