Junior Attorney Digital & Data Protection

About the role

Eubelius is seeking a motivated Junior Attorney to join its Data and Digital team in Brussels. The role focuses on data protection law, digital legislation, and related advisory work for a diverse client base across the private and public sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in defining and executing data project strategies.
• Support data litigation before courts and data‑protection authorities.
• Participate in data and cyber incident response activities.
• Provide advice on emerging data legislation, data sharing, cloud services, and trust services such as e‑signature and e‑archiving.
• Draft and review contracts related to data and digital matters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including corporate, public, and social law colleagues.
• Monitor and follow up on new regulations (DMA, DSA, DGA, DA, AIA, NIS2, CRA).

Required profile

• Belgian law degree with a strong academic record.
• 0‑3 years of experience in data protection, digital law, or technology‑related legal matters.
• Fluency in Dutch and excellent proficiency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Passion for data protection, digital innovation, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Entrepreneurial, curious, proactive, and results‑driven mindset.
• Exceptional organizational skills, positive attitude, and strong teamwork and communication abilities.
