Industrial Project Manager – Medior (Freelance optional)

About the role

We are seeking a medior Industrial Project Manager to lead technical projects at our Olen site. You will own projects from pre‑study through execution and handover, handling values from €250K up to more than €5M across production, infrastructure and R&D initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule together with stakeholders.
• Set up, coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Oversee technical design and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Prepare tender documents and support the selection of suppliers, engineering firms and contractors.
• Manage internal and external resources throughout the project lifecycle.
• Handle scope changes, update plans and report progress, risks and decisions to management.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of end‑to‑end project management experience in the industrial sector.
• At least five completed projects ranging from €100K to €2.5M.
• Technical background as an engineer with knowledge of mechanics, electricity, piping and civil works.
• Strong analytical abilities, helicopter view and excellent reporting skills.
• Fluent Dutch and very good English, VCA‑VOL certification.
• Available to work 100% onsite in Olen, with occasional travel abroad.
