Human Resources Business Partner – Brussels

About the role

The Human Resources Business Partner will support the Machelen/Brussels site by aligning company objectives with employee needs and ensuring effective HR service delivery across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Organise weekly meetings with operational units and advise managers on HR matters.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit.
• Implement group performance and talent management processes.
• Provide daily performance‑management guidance, including coaching, disciplinary actions and absenteeism control.
• Resolve complex personnel‑relations issues and participate in union and works‑council meetings.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of labour law to minimise legal risk.
• Improve working relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
• Identify training needs and follow up on coaching programmes.
• Track HR KPIs and report results to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR Business Partner role.
• Strong knowledge of talent management, compensation, organisational design, employee‑union relations, diversity, performance management and labour law.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
