HR Manager – Brussels

About the role

Contexte is looking for an HR Manager to lead the human‑resources function for its Brussels office of 30 multicultural employees. Reporting to the HR Directorate, you will act as the daily HR liaison, ensuring compliance, employee well‑being, and smooth office operations in a fast‑paced European media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts, amendments and co‑manage payroll together with the Paris payroll manager and Securex.
• Monitor Belgian social legislation, update contractual documents, internal processes and work regulations.
• Apply the company’s compensation policy and support recruitment and onboarding activities.
• Organise training, annual evaluations and initiatives that promote employee fulfillment.
• Plan internal and external events, coordinate meetings and foster team cohesion.
• Oversee workspace management, supervise external service providers and ensure the premises remain functional.
• Provide logistical support to anticipate daily needs and maintain a dynamic work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR management or administration.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian labour and social legislation.
• Ability to collaborate with HR teams in Paris and external partners.
• Fluent in French and English to support a bilingual workforce.
