HR Business Improvement Officer

About the role

The NATO Human Resources Office is seeking an Officer to lead change‑management initiatives that modernise HR processes and align them with organisational objectives. You will research, recommend and implement technology‑enabled solutions to improve efficiency across HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan and execute end‑to‑end projects that enhance operational efficiency, resilience and business continuity.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies and support change‑management activities.
• Document existing HR workflows, identify inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, provide regular updates and ensure effective information management.
• Share best practices, produce reports and statistics, and contribute to knowledge‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Management, Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing change in an international or multicultural environment.
• Proficiency in NATO’s official languages: Advanced level in English or French and elementary level in the other.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ICT systems and office software packages.
• Experience with collaborative tools and task‑management solutions.
• Ability to retrieve, process and present information using software applications.
