Global Key Account Manager

About the role

FPS is seeking a Global Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships across the Benelux region. You will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning FPS solutions with the sustainability goals of major multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term account plans that match customer priorities and FPS objectives.
• Build executive‑level relationships with Procurement, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Operations and Senior Leadership.
• Lead regular business reviews, strategic alignment meetings and value‑based commercial engagements.
• Identify and close new profitable opportunities, including cross‑selling, innovation projects and geographic expansion.
• Lead negotiations, global tenders and RFP/RFQ processes, presenting total cost of ownership and supply security value propositions.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Operations, Finance, Quality, etc.) in a team‑based selling model.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and raw‑material dynamics to shape commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑centric mindset with proven consultative, value‑based selling and negotiation experience.
• Ability to manage complex, international customer organisations across multiple countries.
• Excellent business acumen – pricing, profitability, margins and total cost of ownership.
• Data‑driven decision‑making and ability to translate strategy into actionable initiatives.
• High ownership, resilience and entrepreneurial attitude; capable of influencing without direct authority.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills at operational and executive levels.
• Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is a plus.
