General Manager – Food Delivery Platform (Belgium)

About the role

The General Manager will lead Uber Eats’ business in Belgium, shaping strategy, driving growth and owning the full P&L. This high‑impact position requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial judgment and the ability to operate in a fast‑moving market.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership: forecast, manage revenue, margin and gross bookings to achieve profitable growth.
• Define and execute country strategy, including expansion into new cities and product verticals such as grocery or retail.
• Design and continuously improve operational systems to enhance customer experience, reduce delivery times and prevent fraud.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing local team, fostering a data‑centric, accountable culture.
• Collaborate across functions, breaking down silos to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Represent Uber Eats with media, government, restaurant groups and strategic partners.
• Work with Policy and Communications to manage regulatory challenges and local narratives.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in high‑growth operations, general management, consulting or a comparable strategic role.
• Proven track record of P&L management and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
• Demonstrated leadership of diverse, matrixed teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Experience defining and executing country‑level market expansion strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with external partners, regulators and media.
