Front Office Manager / Receptionist – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a professional, guest‑oriented Front Office Manager to lead the reception team at Catalonia Brussels hotel. As the first point of contact, you will shape the guest experience and ensure smooth daily operations of the front office.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage department schedules, shifts and staff rosters.
• Recruit, select and train front‑office personnel.
• Oversee daily reservation lists, modifications, cancellations and room allocations for individuals and groups.
• Handle credit billing, electronic invoicing, payments, settlements and bank deposits.
• Manage guest complaints, claims and special requests, including VIP and over‑booking situations.
• Control cash register, billing and revenue‑management activities such as price adjustments and sales reporting.
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager on room status and maintain the internal incident log.
• Prepare event service sheets, quotes for groups and tour operations, and follow up on pending invoices.
• Respond to online guest comments and reviews as part of community management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a receptionist or front‑office manager in a 4‑star hotel.
• Fluent in English, Spanish and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Impeccable presentation, communication skills and a proactive attitude toward guest satisfaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel PMS systems.
• Knowledge of SAP (advantageous).
