About the role
We are seeking a professional Front Office Manager to lead the reception team at our 4‑star hotel in Brussels. As the first point of contact, you will shape the guest experience and ensure smooth daily operations of the front desk.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage department schedules and shift patterns.
- Recruit, select and train front‑office personnel.
- Oversee daily reservation lists, modifications, cancellations and room allocations, including group bookings and overbooking management.
- Handle credit billing, electronic invoicing, cash register and bank settlements.
- Manage guest complaints, claims and VIP services.
- Coordinate with housekeeping on room status and maintain the internal incident log.
- Prepare event service sheets, quotes for groups and tour operations.
- Conduct revenue‑management tasks such as sales closing, price updates and online rate changes.
- Respond to online reviews and comments as community manager.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience as a receptionist or front‑office manager in a 4‑star hotel.
- Fluent in English, Spanish and French; additional languages a plus.
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills.
- Proactive, friendly and committed to guest satisfaction.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hotel PMS systems.
- Knowledge of SAP (preferred).
