About the role
The Front Desk Receptionist at Jill Hotel Brussels plays a key part in delivering a warm and efficient first impression for guests. Working part‑time on‑site, you will be the main point of contact for visitors, handling arrivals, departures and everyday enquiries while supporting the smooth operation of the hotel’s front‑of‑house.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, manage check‑in and check‑out procedures and provide information on hotel services and the local area.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to e‑mail enquiries and process reservations using the hotel’s booking system.
- Address guest questions or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Perform basic clerical tasks such as maintaining guest records, processing payments and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments.
- Keep the lobby and front‑desk area clean, organized and inviting.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling requirements, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with a solution‑focused attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; French or Dutch are a plus.
- Prior experience in hospitality, front‑office or other customer‑facing roles is advantageous.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented and reliable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work on‑site in Brussels and adjust to variable shift patterns.
Required skills
- Proficiency with front‑desk and reservation software.
