Freelance Journal Selection & Pre‑Submission Peer Reviewer (Emergency Medicine)

About the role

We are looking for experienced researchers or journal editors to work on a freelance basis reviewing manuscripts in emergency medicine before submission. The role is fully remote and offers flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peer‑review‑style comments on submitted manuscripts.
• Identify areas for improvement and assess readiness for publication.
• Prepare a detailed assessment report with recommendations.
• Deliver all reviews and reports within client‑specified deadlines.

Required profile

• Prior experience as an invited peer reviewer for a journal or as a journal editor (mandatory).
• At least ten published manuscripts as author or co‑author (mandatory).
• PhD or MD in a relevant field such as Surgery, Education, Ophthalmology, Clinical Oncology, Theoretical Physics, Theology, Philosophy, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Reproductive Medicine, Pediatrics, Sociology, Linguistics, Design, Anesthesiology, etc. (mandatory).
