Freelance Clinical Trial Nurse – Home Patient Monitoring

About the role

We are seeking freelance nurses to support a clinical trial by monitoring patients in their homes. The role involves providing direct nursing care, collecting clinical data and ensuring the study protocol is followed while working independently on a performance‑ or hourly‑based contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and health education to trial participants at their residence.
• Collect blood samples and perform bacteriological sampling according to study protocol.
• Install and explain medical equipment such as hospital beds and respirators.
• Document patient status, incidents and clinical observations in the study file.
• Communicate patient progress and any changes to the interdisciplinary trial team.
• Submit required documentation promptly to the clinical trial coordinator.

Required profile

• Registered nurse with experience in clinical trials.
• Possession of a Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong administrative skills and ability to handle study documentation accurately.
• Fluent Dutch and good English communication skills.
