First Line Service Desk Support (French/Dutch)

About the role

Join a national regulatory authority’s IT support team as a First Line Service Desk professional. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, handling daily incidents, preparing equipment, and providing bilingual assistance in French and Dutch.

Key responsibilities

• Perform first‑line troubleshooting and resolve user incidents promptly.
• Manage the ticket queue using Atlassian Jira, ensuring clear communication and follow‑up.
• Prepare and configure Windows workstations and related peripherals.
• Create and maintain practical checklists, templates, and troubleshooting guides for the knowledge base.
• Capture lessons learned from recurring issues and share them with second‑ and third‑line specialists.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a Service Desk environment.
• Strong background in IT with formal education.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and Dutch, with good written English.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, organized attitude.

Required skills

• Windows workstation troubleshooting and configuration.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Documentation of Standard Operational Procedures in English.
• ITIL knowledge (optional but advantageous).
