Financial Controller – Private Equity (Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our private‑equity finance team at group level. You will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely reporting while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and maintain strong financial controls.
• Provide performance insights, trend analysis and key KPI reporting.
• Support group consolidation in line with accounting standards.
• Coordinate with local finance teams and external accountants.
• Identify financial risks and propose improvement opportunities.
• Assist with annual budgeting, regular forecasting cycles and variance analysis.
• Support audits, regulatory compliance and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, reporting or consolidation.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
