Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a leading automotive company in Puurs. In this role you will partner with regional management to analyse results, optimise processes and drive profitability across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial results and discuss findings with regional management.
• Optimise processes related to operations and gross‑margin performance.
• Develop initiatives to improve profitability.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date SAP structure and deliver accurate financial forecasts.
• Prepare budgets using SAP BPC tools.
• Represent the organisation in local management meetings.
• Ensure compliance with financial processes and support audit activities.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and handle ad‑hoc financial tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Initial experience in finance, e.g., as a consultant or Financial Controller.
• Audit experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Excel; SAP experience is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Team player, accurate, deadline‑oriented and proactive in a dynamic environment.
