Financial Controller – Industrial Sector (Brussels)

About the role

An exciting opportunity awaits a Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing industrial organization in Brussels. You will partner with operational and leadership teams, providing financial insights that drive strategic decisions in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and management teams to analyse performance and key financial drivers.
• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and performance reviews.
• Manage month‑end closings, including margin analysis, inventory valuation and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and accounting records.
• Support compliance activities, external audits and credit risk monitoring.
• Contribute to finance process optimisation, reporting tools and automation initiatives.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects related to reporting, consolidation and system improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, financial controlling or corporate finance.
• Fluent in French and/or English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical, autonomous and results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
