Financial Controller – FP&A & Risk Management

About the role

Join Mega’s fast‑moving energy and telecom business as a Financial Controller. You will own the FP&A framework, drive performance analysis, and influence strategic decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) with variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
• Develop and maintain a Cost & Revenue assurance framework, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and monitoring gross‑margin drivers.
• Design and update risk‑monitoring reports, identify key financial risks and coordinate mitigation actions with stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑departmental projects, delivering analytical tools and supporting the rollout of new financial and operational processes.
• Assist the Reporting & Financial Control Manager with ad‑hoc analyses, including B2B reporting implementation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree, preferably with an economic focus.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial audit, controlling or FP&A.
• Strong analytical mindset, rigorous attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Fluent in French, good command of English; Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of BE GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Comfortable working with large data sets (big‑data environment).
