Junior Accounting & Tax Consultant – Immediate Start

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accounting & Tax Consultant to join our Tax team as of October 2026, specifically within our Asset Management team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop accounting and tax expertise while gaining exposure to the investment fund industry and the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Compute Belgian tax data for investment funds (SICAVs, mutual funds, private equity funds) and ensure accurate figures.
• Analyse fund portfolios, assess tax treatment of investments and determine the scope of applicable Belgian tax rules.
• Configure and maintain automated data interfaces with fund administrators to ensure smooth data flows.
• Perform data checks, validate tax figures and conduct quality controls for timely delivery.
• Participate in continuous learning through training, coaching and use of digital tools.

Required profile

• Completed or near‑completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, tax or related field, or up to 2 years experience.
• Team‑player who can also take responsibility and work independently.
• Analytical mindset with a passion for solving tax and financial puzzles.
• Strong communication skills in French and English.
• Curious, open‑minded and eager to keep learning as tax laws and technology evolve.
• Tech‑savvy, comfortable with Excel and data tools; interest in automation and digital solutions.
• Interest in AI and digital tools, with willingness to explore their application.
