Financial Controller – Aerospace & Satellite

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join Aerrospacelab’s finance team. Reporting to the Head of Finance and working with a Senior Controller, you will act as a trusted business partner, overseeing financial performance, risks and opportunities across our satellite and earth‑observation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly close, including revenue recognition (IFRS 15), project profitability analysis, inventory valuation, capitalized production (IAS 38) and headcount cost allocation.
• Monitor cash‑flow plans, flag financing needs and maintain a rolling forecast.
• Build and maintain financial dashboards, analyse variances, run scenario analyses and present findings to senior leadership.
• Deliver timely monthly reports and financial presentations for the CFO and Executive Committee.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and support internal and external audit activities.
• Drive Finance‑team AI initiatives to streamline reporting, forecasting and analysis.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in finance.
• At least 5 years of financial controlling experience in an industrial, manufacturing or deep‑tech environment; aerospace or defence experience is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, rigorous analytical mindset and ability to work autonomously.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Collaborative team player comfortable communicating financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders.
