Senior Accountant – Charleroi (Industry sector)

About the role

Our client is a rapidly growing international company operating in a highly innovative and industrial environment. The Finance team is expanding and seeks a Senior Accountant to strengthen its operations in Charleroi.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle for the group's key Belgian entities.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closings in compliance with Belgian GAAP.
• Prepare reconciliations, accruals, provisions and financial reporting schedules.
• Support audit processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Collaborate closely with Business Controllers and operational teams in a project‑driven environment.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of accounting processes, controls and reporting tools.
• Support consolidation and group reporting activities when required.
• Act as a key finance partner in a fast‑growing organisation undergoing continuous transformation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in an international, industrial, project‑based or fast‑growing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP.
• Experience managing accounting activities independently in a dynamic setting.
• Comfortable working with evolving processes and taking ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in French and/or English.
