Finance & Reporting Controller

About the role

We are seeking an analytical Finance & Reporting Controller to join a leading automotive company in Puurs. In this position you will analyse financial results, monitor risks and support management in optimising both financial and business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial results and discuss findings with regional management.
• Optimise processes related to ongoing operations and gross‑margin performance.
• Develop initiatives aimed at improving profitability.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date SAP structure and deliver accurate financial forecasts.
• Prepare budgets using SAP BPC tools.
• Represent the organisation in local management meetings.
• Ensure compliance with financial processes and support audit activities.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and handle ad‑hoc financial tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Initial experience in finance, e.g., as a consultant or Financial Controller.
• Audit experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Team player who works accurately, meets deadlines and takes a proactive, problem‑solving approach.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with SAP.
• Familiarity with SAP BPC.
