GL Accountant – Brussels – 65k + Mobility Budget

About the role

Join a fast‑growing automotive company in Brussels as a General Ledger (GL) Accountant. You will own the day‑to‑day accounting operations, drive month‑end closing and support the company’s financial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks and lead the monthly closing process, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Coordinate VAT and corporate tax filings on a monthly and annual basis.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Controlling team and external experts in France and the Netherlands on cross‑border finance matters.
• Participate in external audits and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Help design financial risk frameworks and build new processes from scratch.
• Support reporting and analysis for investors and financial partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Fluent English; French or Dutch is a plus.
