Field Medical Advisor – HAE & Immunoglobulins (Belgium)

About the role

The Field Medical Advisor will act as the scientific bridge between CSL’s HAE and immunoglobulin portfolio and healthcare professionals in Belgium. Reporting to Medical Affairs, you will build relationships with key opinion leaders, provide medical information, and support the adoption of CSL products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders.
• Provide timely, high‑quality medical and scientific information in response to local queries.
• Organise and deliver educational workshops, seminars and training sessions for physicians, pharmacists and scientists.
• Lead Scientific Advisory Board meetings and participate in medical symposia.
• Facilitate investigator‑initiated studies, site feasibility assessments and collaborative research proposals.
• Monitor market intelligence, competitor activities and emerging trends in the therapeutic area.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment.
• Ensure all activities comply with CSL’s Code of Responsible Business Practice and relevant governance regulations.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences.
• Fluency in Dutch and French.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably in medical, clinical or specialty product roles.
