About the role
The Export Sales Director will own and develop Baobab Collection’s global distributor network, driving revenue growth and brand positioning across international markets. This senior commercial role combines strategic planning, partner management, and contract negotiation to expand the brand’s footprint.
Key responsibilities
- Own and manage the global distributor network across all export markets.
- Act as primary point of contact for distributors, ensuring professional and consistent relationships.
- Define and monitor distributor KPIs such as revenue, distribution, brand execution, inventory, and compliance.
- Lead regular performance reviews, revenue reporting, forecasting, and action‑plan development.
- Develop and manage annual and multi‑year Joint Business Plans with distributors.
- Align local market strategies with the brand’s global positioning and commercial priorities.
- Identify under‑performing markets, lead distributor replacement processes, and evaluate new partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and financial structures, ensuring compliance with local tax and operational constraints.
Required profile
- Strong commercial and strategic focus with a proven track record in international sales.
- Experience managing distributor networks and driving performance improvements.
- Ability to develop and execute joint business plans and market development strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of contract and financial structuring.
- Capacity to assess partner capabilities across commercial, operational, financial, and brand criteria.
