Experienced Communication Consultant

About the role

Sharp Sense is seeking an Experienced Communication Consultant to join its independent consultancy focused on reputation and strategic communications. You will work directly with partners and a network of specialists, taking ownership of client assignments that blend analysis, strategic advice and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse organisations to uncover stakeholder perceptions, risks, power dynamics and emerging issues.
• Transform complex situations into clear strategic recommendations and positioning advice.
• Develop communication strategies, audits, stakeholder maps, message frameworks and crisis response plans.
• Advise clients on messaging, sensitive decisions and executive positioning.
• Write notes, statements, arguments or recommendations on tight deadlines.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate implementation across the ecosystem.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in strategic or corporate communications, either in consultancy or a large organisation.
• Proven exposure to reputation management, media relations, crisis communications, internal communications or transformation projects.
• Ability to quickly understand organisational stakes and deliver actionable insights.
