Events & Community Lead

About the role

The Pulse Foundation is looking for an Events & Community Lead to build, animate and grow its network of experts, volunteers and partners. You will ensure a high‑quality experience at every interaction, from workshops to large‑scale gatherings, and act as the proactive driver of community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit French‑ and Dutch‑speaking volunteers and manage the onboarding journey for new members.
• Map, monitor and update the expertise, availability and language skills of volunteers, mentors and partners in the CRM.
• Identify missing expert profiles and proactively activate the right people for each program.
• Organise and manage community events such as Fuck Up Nights, workshops, summits and annual gatherings, handling logistics, venue selection and supplier negotiations.
• Maintain regular engagement rituals (check‑ins, milestones, thank‑you messages) and measure retention rates, proposing improvements where needed.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure high‑impact events and capture post‑event feedback and showcase content.

Required profile

• Experience in community management, volunteer coordination or event organization.
• Strong communication skills in French and Dutch, with English proficiency.
• Ability to work autonomously, anticipate needs and drive engagement.
