Energy Engineer (French/Dutch & English)

About the role

As an Energy Engineer at ALTEN Belgium you will join a growing team that delivers engineering projects for clients across the country. You will focus on the design, analysis and optimisation of energy systems, supporting initiatives in renewable energy, power generation, transmission, distribution and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, analysis and optimisation of energy systems and infrastructure.
• Support projects related to renewable energy, power generation, transmission, distribution and energy efficiency.
• Conduct technical studies, feasibility analyses and prepare specifications and reports.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting and monitoring activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Energy, Electrical, Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• First experience in a similar position; recent graduates are welcome.
• Knowledge of energy systems, power distribution or renewable energy technologies is an asset.
• Fluency in French OR Dutch and English.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive, structured and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
