Radioactive Waste Project Manager

About the role

ENGIE is seeking a Radioactive Waste Project Manager to lead multiple waste‑management projects linked to the decommissioning of its nuclear fleet. Working from Brussels, you will coordinate with internal decommissioning teams, external partners such as ONDRAF/NIRAS, and senior managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new waste acceptance and compliance criteria for radioactive waste streams.
• Develop and roll out waste stream definitions and related processes.
• Create and maintain material and waste inventories supporting decommissioning activities.
• Plan and oversee radioactive transport operations in line with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Civil or industrial engineering degree with experience in nuclear project management.
• Willingness to acquire or deepen knowledge of radioactive waste (RaW) processes.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French and English.
• Strong ability to work autonomously while collaborating efficiently with internal and external stakeholders.
