Electrical & Instrumentation Designer (E&I) – Brussels

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Designer/E&I Engineer to join our team in Brussels. You will be responsible for reviewing project data after completion, producing accurate as‑built drawings, and supporting small‑scale projects while ensuring safety, ergonomics, feasibility, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and archive project data following completion.
• Create detailed as‑built drawings and documentation based on operator feedback.
• Assist in the execution of smaller projects, focusing on ergonomics, safety, and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with colleagues from piping, civil engineering, and other disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Utilise specialised software (AutoCAD, Microstation, SEE Electrical Expert, Eplan) to design electrical schematics and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education in electricity/electronics/electromechanics or a related bachelor’s/associate degree.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation design.
• Strong knowledge of low‑voltage distribution, instrumentation circuits, pneumatics, and relevant standards (e.g., AREI).
• Fluent in French with good Dutch, or Dutch with good French.
• Proficient with Windows 10 and Office 365.
