E&I Designer for Chemical & Petrochemical Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced E&I Designer to join our team for industrial projects in the chemical and petrochemical sector in the Antwerp region. You will be responsible for translating technical requirements into detailed electrical and instrumentation designs for complex industrial installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and detail E&I designs for industrial installations.
• Prepare and update electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Perform cable calculations and related technical analyses.
• Support project and site teams with technical design questions.
• Maintain accurate, structured, and up‑to‑date design documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, execution, and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an E&I Designer in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of AREI regulations and electrical installations.
• Fluent in Dutch or English and able to read technical English documentation.
