Digital Journey & CRO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Digital Journey & CRO Specialist to join a leading organisation in Brussels. The role focuses on designing, coordinating and continuously optimizing integrated customer experiences across digital and offline touchpoints, ensuring high‑performing, seamless journeys.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an optichannel strategy across web, mobile, social, email, paid media and emerging channels.
• Translate business and marketing objectives into funnel‑based channel plans and digital journey designs.
• Map end‑to‑end customer journeys for acquisition, onboarding, engagement and retention, identifying friction points and improvement opportunities.
• Lead CRO initiatives on websites, landing pages, forms and mobile experiences, designing and analysing A/B and multivariate tests.
• Analyse user behaviour using Adobe Analytics, Content Square, heatmap and session‑recording tools, turning insights into concrete optimisation actions.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to measure channel effectiveness and journey performance.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and proficient in either Dutch or French.
• Strong strategic understanding of optichannel marketing and customer experience.
• Proven experience in digital journey mapping, UX collaboration and conversion rate optimisation.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, delivering results on schedule.
