About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi‑chef de partie to join the kitchen team at the Stanhope Hotel Brussels. In this position you will support the preparation and presentation of dishes for the hotel restaurant and buffet service, ensuring high culinary standards and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs in preparing, cooking and plating a variety of hot and cold dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, following all safety procedures.
• Help set up and replenish buffet stations, ensuring attractive and timely service.
• Work flexible shifts, including daytime, evening and split‑shift schedules as required.
• Collaborate with the team while also being able to work independently when needed.

• Passionate about cooking and eager to develop culinary skills.
• Versatile team player who can also operate autonomously.
• Flexible mindset with no strict 9‑to‑5 expectations.
• Attention to detail and strict adherence to hygiene and food‑handling procedures.
