Demand Manager – Forecasting & S&OP

About the role

As a Demand Manager you will own the demand volume forecasting and planning for Danone's brands and customers in Belgium. Working closely with the Brand & Customer Team, you will ensure a complete forecast and drive S&OP processes to close gaps and capture extra business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Produce short‑term and long‑term forecasts, aligning supply with demand together with Supply Planning and Customer Service.
• Maintain forecast consistency across periods, track changes and explain variances.
• Measure and improve forecast accuracy through better system use and methodology.
• Leverage market data and collaborative forecasting with retailers for promotions and product changes.
• Facilitate S&OP meetings to achieve consensus, identify risks and opportunities, and support gap closure.
• Run analyses on historical baseline data, clean event impacts, and enrich forecasts with inputs from Marketing, Sales, Category Management, and customers.
• Represent Supply Chain in cross‑functional brand and customer teams.

Required profile

• Master of Science in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in planning, supply chain or analytical roles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to influence multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Excellent communication in English; French or Dutch is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Knowledge of PowerBI for data visualization.
