Data Scientist

About the role

As a Data Scientist at Netcompany you will partner with business stakeholders, UX designers and product teams to turn complex problems into data‑driven solutions. You will design, build and operationalise advanced analytics and machine‑learning models that support the company’s digital transformation initiatives across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, formulate hypotheses and define success metrics with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with UX and product teams to design intuitive visualisations of model outputs.
• Identify, collect and prepare data, ensuring robust production‑grade pipelines and feature engineering.
• Develop, validate and deploy predictive, recommendation, anomaly‑detection and text‑analysis models.
• Design and maintain scalable analytics architecture in partnership with data analysts and architects.
• Document work and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to manage inter‑system dependencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of hands‑on experience in data science, advanced analytics or AI/ML engineering.
• Proven ability to design end‑to‑end data‑driven solutions, including forecasting, recommendation systems and sentiment analysis.
• Experience building predictive and text‑based models with modern frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of experiment design, A/B testing and AI compliance (e.g., GDPR).
