Data Analyst – Financial Institutions

About the role

Capco is looking for a Data Analyst to help organizations turn complex data into meaningful insights and practical business solutions. You will work at the intersection of data, technology and business, supporting clients in improving their data foundations, processes and decision-making. This is a hybrid consulting role with regular on-site work at the client.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, combine and prepare data from multiple sources, and design, maintain and optimize data flows and transformation processes.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies, and turn business questions into data-driven recommendations.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations and analytical outputs, and investigate data quality issues with data owners and providers.
• Analyze existing data processes, support data migration and transformation initiatives, and help establish robust data foundations.
• Manage and coordinate data-related activities and project deliverables, working with business users, data providers, IT teams and other stakeholders.
• Plan, monitor and communicate progress, risks and dependencies, and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, business analysis or data-related transformation projects.
• Project management or project delivery experience is required.
• Master's degree in a quantitative, technical or analytical field preferred, but equivalent practical experience is valued.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Dataiku (required)
• Knowledge of Alteryx (required)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau is a strong plus
• Comfortable working with multiple data sources, data preparation and ETL/data transformation processes
