Customer Service Operator

About the role

As a Customer Service Operator at L'Oréal, you will manage the order‑to‑delivery flow for various customers, ensuring fast and efficient execution while delivering an excellent experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth verbal and written communication with customers, even under pressure.
• Proactively process orders and follow up until delivery.
• Respond to client requirements such as deadlines, shortages, information requests, and disputes.
• Handle claims, disputes, returns and rebates.
• Enforce credit policy and sales terms, monitor bill payments and send reminders.
• Resolve tickets and cases promptly, managing individual backlog.
• Support workload balance by handing over case portfolios to teammates.
• Collaborate with customer‑facing, invoice‑to‑cash teams and sales stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and Dutch, with good English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree and IT‑savvy.
• Previous experience in customer care or a client‑related role is a plus.
• Resilient, assertive, calm and a team player.
• Strong problem‑solving and proactive communication skills.
• Ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
