Communications Expert – Corporate Narrative Lead

About the role

As a Communications Expert you will shape and deliver corporate communication initiatives at group level for bpost, translating strategic messages into clear, engaging content that enhances the organisation’s visibility and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify corporate topics and craft relevant, impactful narratives for diverse audiences.
• Anticipate communication opportunities, assess risks and define positioning.
• Create and deliver high‑quality content across press, social media, website and corporate publications.
• Adapt messaging and formats (text, visuals, video, multimedia) to maximise engagement.
• Propose innovative content formats and themes aligned with market trends.
• Support thought‑leadership initiatives and promote senior leadership expertise.
• Build and maintain an internal network of content sources across departments and entities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and evaluate communication requests.
• Work with digital teams to manage and optimise corporate channels and monitor performance.
• Provide data‑driven recommendations and clear reporting on communication activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communication, content or media.
• Strong writing and storytelling ability, capable of translating complex topics into clear content.
• Excellent command of tone, messaging and audience adaptation.
• Solid understanding of digital communication and social media dynamics.
• Experience with multimedia formats (text, visuals, video) and a proactive, creative mindset.
