Chief Information Security Officer

About the role

As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) you will lead the security strategy for a client organization on behalf of Keystone Solutions. You will protect the enterprise against cyber threats, ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability, and align security practices with NIS2 and GDPR requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern the overall information security strategy and policies.
• Manage federal audits and act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities.
• Develop, monitor and enforce security procedures, including incident response and risk reporting.
• Lead security awareness and culture initiatives across the organization.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of technical controls such as firewalls, encryption, anti‑virus and IAM solutions.
• Conduct periodic security assessments and ensure continuous improvement of the security posture.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of enterprise IT experience, with at least 5 years in information security leadership.
• Strong understanding of operational IT components (Microsoft Entra ID, client/server architecture, network technologies).
• Proven ability to balance security risks with business priorities and communicate risk analyses to senior management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 or ISO 27005.
• In‑depth knowledge of the NIS2 directive and GDPR compliance.
