Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

Movu robotics, a global leader in warehouse automation and part of the stow Group, is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the Movu CEO and the Group CFO, you will drive the financial strategy and ensure accurate project profitability across our high‑growth, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a finance team of 11, including four direct reports (Finance & Accounting Manager EU, Project Controlling Manager, Industrial Controller, Finance Director US).
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create annual budgets, long‑term financial plans, and monthly forecasts; identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Manage global cash flow and liquidity in collaboration with Group Treasury.
• Identify and mitigate market, credit, and operational risks through insurance, hedging, and contractual safeguards.
• Partner with Operations, Projects, Services, and Technology to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Implement advanced financial ERP systems and data‑analytics tools to enhance reporting and decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial reporting standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in a CFO role.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, automation, or project‑based businesses is highly desirable.
• Experience in a private‑equity‑backed environment is a strong plus.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA or CFA preferred.
• Fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communication skills for non‑finance stakeholders and the Board.
