About the role
As a Finance, Risk and Compliance Consultant you will work with leading financial institutions in Belgium, Luxembourg and beyond, designing and delivering high‑value solutions that help clients meet regulatory requirements and transform their finance functions. The role combines project management, advisory, and business development activities in a fast‑moving regulatory environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage projects related to the implementation of new regulations, remediation of audit findings, and advisory on organisational and technical optimisation.
- Leverage analytical and technical skills to guide teams toward actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of clients, experts and colleagues within Accenture.
- Monitor latest regulations and compliance trends and translate them into opportunities for clients.
- Build and sustain client relationships to accelerate business growth.
- Drive business‑development initiatives and act as an entrepreneur of your own career.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise and industry perspectives to create client value.
- Mentor and inspire talent, leading teams to outstanding results.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in law, European affairs, business economics, finance/risk management or a related field.
- 2‑5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in regulatory, compliance, public affairs, GRC implementation or non‑financial risk management.
- Fluency in English and Dutch or French.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as MiFID/IDD, KYC/AML, PSD II, GDPR, ESG, DORA, etc.
- Understanding of digitalisation and data‑analytics potential for process optimisation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in business development.
- Experience in client‑facing environments, including requirements definition, gap analysis and solution design.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling and stakeholder‑management skills.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Data‑analytics tools such as Power BI.
- SQL.
- Python (optional but advantageous).
